Why Swift Drop
Sharjah delivery

Swift Drop is a UAE express-delivery service. You book online, a driver is dispatched to the pickup address you enter, and the item goes directly to the destination you name. There is no depot drop-off and no counter to visit.
Inside Sharjah we collect and deliver across Al Majaz, Al Nahda, Al Khan, Al Qasba, Al Taawun, Muwaileh, University City, the Sharjah Industrial Area and Khor Fakkan. Operations run 24/7, and the service covers all seven emirates, including Al Ain and Ruwais. If your pickup or destination is not on that list, enter it in the booking form — the address fields decide what is available, not a branch map.
Most Sharjah jobs fall into a few patterns: documents and contracts moving between offices in Al Majaz and Al Qasba, spare parts going to workshops in the Industrial Area, parcels for families between Muwaileh and Al Nahda, and campus paperwork around University City. The Sharjah coverage page lists the zones and the local service pages in more detail, and express delivery in Sharjah covers the dedicated-driver option specifically.
Prices below are for a pickup and a destination inside Sharjah. They are totals: 5% VAT is already included, and the figure you see at booking is the figure you pay. Nothing is added at the door.
| Item | Standard (next business day) | Same-day | Express |
|---|---|---|---|
| Document | AED 53 | AED 68 | AED 89 |
| Small parcel | AED 79 | AED 100 | AED 126 |
| Large parcel | AED 116 | AED 152 | AED 189 |
| Fragile | AED 131 | AED 168 | AED 205 |
Standard is a consolidated route and the best value for anything that can wait until the next business day. Same-day is for items that must land today. Express is a dedicated driver on a direct route with no stops — the fastest of the three, and the right choice for a deadline you cannot move.
Medical transport is quoted separately at AED 120–200 depending on the job. It is covered by our UAE trade licence. Pet, falcon and other special transports are quoted individually because the handling and vehicle requirements differ; you can request a price through the booking form rather than guessing from a table.
The full rate card, including the other item classes, is on the pricing page. Every number there is computed by the same engine that prices your booking, so the table and the checkout cannot drift apart.
Book a same-day job before 15:00 and it is delivered by 21:00 the same evening. Book after 15:00 and same-day is no longer the honest option: the realistic choices are express, if the item has to move now, or standard for the next business day.
Three speeds, three different promises:
Cut-off times are per emirate, so a Sharjah pickup booked at 15:30 cannot be treated as same-day even if the destination is five minutes away. If a deadline is tight or unusual, confirm it with the team before you pay rather than assuming the window.
Searching for a delivery service near me in Sharjah usually means one of two things: you want someone to come to you, or you want to walk into a shop. This service is the first kind. There is no shopfront, no walk-in counter and no public drop-off point — the value is that the driver comes to your address, so proximity is about coverage of your area rather than distance to a branch.
That distinction matters when you are comparing options. A counter-based courier may be cheaper if you are already driving past it and can hand the parcel over yourself. A collection-based service costs more per job but removes the trip, which is usually the point when you are sending a contract across the city during a working day or getting a part to a workshop before it closes.
If you need to hand something over in person at a specific location, this model will not suit you — say so plainly rather than booking and expecting a counter. If you need the item picked up from your building, office or a shop in the Industrial Area, that is exactly what the booking flow is built for.
After confirmation you get an order number and a tracking link you can share with the recipient. Proof of delivery — recipient name and a photo at handover — is captured when the item is handed over. Status updates arrive by SMS and WhatsApp as the job moves. If the item is a document, the document courier Dubai to Abu Dhabi guide explains the same booking logic for a cross-emirate run.
Regular senders — workshops, clinics, trading offices, online sellers — can open a business account with a from-price of AED 15 per delivery. That figure is an entry point for qualifying accounts, not a universal rate, and it comes with conditions:
If your volume is small or your items are large, fragile or time-critical, the per-job rates in the table above are the relevant comparison. The business page sets out how accounts are set up and what the volume requirement looks like in practice. Business pricing is quoted against your actual lane mix, because a consolidated route and a dedicated express run are different products and should not be compared as if they were the same.
Deliveries that start or end outside Sharjah are priced live, not from a table. The reason is straightforward: an inter-emirate job carries a distance surcharge, and that surcharge depends on the actual pair of addresses rather than on the emirate names alone. Quoting a fixed number for "Sharjah to Dubai" would be wrong for half the jobs that phrase describes.
Enter the pickup and destination on the delivery routes page or directly in the booking form and the price is calculated for that specific pair, with VAT included. Sharjah–Dubai and Sharjah–Ajman are the busiest corridors, and the same-day cut-off still applies to the Sharjah collection side, so an early-afternoon booking is the safe choice for a same-day cross-emirate run.
For a longer cross-emirate job, the express delivery service is the dedicated-driver product and the Abu Dhabi courier guide covers what changes when the destination is in another emirate.
Inside Sharjah, a document is AED 53 standard, AED 68 same-day or AED 89 express, VAT included. A small parcel is AED 79, AED 100 or AED 126 depending on speed, a large parcel AED 116, AED 152 or AED 189, and a fragile item AED 131, AED 168 or AED 205. Medical transport is quoted at AED 120–200.
No. There is no shopfront or walk-in counter. The driver collects from the address you enter, which is why the service works for offices and homes that cannot spare someone for a trip across the emirate.
15:00. A same-day booking made before then is delivered by 21:00. After 15:00, choose express if the item must move now, or standard for the next business day.
Yes. Cash on collection always works. Card payment is offered at booking only when it is enabled for that booking, so check the payment step rather than assuming.
Yes — all seven emirates, including Al Ain and Ruwais, 24/7. Cross-emirate jobs are priced live at booking because they include the inter-emirate distance surcharge.
You receive an order number and a tracking link when the booking is confirmed. The link can be shared with the recipient, and status updates come by SMS and WhatsApp until proof of delivery is captured.
